Penelope’s Loom offers a collection of hand-made garments, accessories, and decorative items, crafted with love by a small group of makers.
The pilot collection, The Wool of Ithaca, is a tribute to several influences: the Greek-Ithacan heritage, the mythological connection of Penelope to the Homeric weaving motifs, and mentor-artist, Brigitte Moraitis, who introduced her to the art of spinning wool and weaving on a tapestry frame. This guidance sparked the journey into fibre arts.
Penelope’s Loom currently features hand-made crochet bags, hats, and accessories, along with Brigitte’s creations, celebrating the invisible hours spent crafting from fleece to wearable art.
