Elishia Jackson is multidisciplinary artist based in Naarm/Melbourne. She has worked in the visual arts for over 20 years, with a background in painting, drawing, and collage using a variety of mediums. Of recent years, Elishia has delved into the world of fibre art and modern sculptural basketry. Using a variety of materials including foraged natural fibres, paper, reclaimed wood, wire, and Plaster of Paris, she weaves sculptural vases, vessels, bowls, hanging mobiles, and wall hangings. Her work is earthy and delicate, rich in warmth, patina and movement. Elishia has exhibited and sold her artworks across Australia and internationally since 2003.
